Herman Wallace spent 36 years in solitary confinement in Angola Prison Louisiana for a crime he did not commit. He remains incarcerated in solitary confinement in Elayn Hunt Correctional Facility, Louisiana. In 2003 artist/activist Jackie Sumell collaborated with Herman facilitating the design of his house which is currently being constructed in New Orleans where Herman spent his youth. In 2007 I started to produce design for their exhibitions and supporting material to spread awareness about this beautiful project. Check out HermansHouse.org for more info.
